Istros returned to Makkum yesterdayThe classic Feadship Istros left the shed after an extensive refit and headed to Harlingen to be put in the water last Monday. Feadship refitted Istros’ hull and added a new aluminium superstructure. They also constructed a new engine room for the twin C18 main engines, a C4.4 diesel generator and a Capstone DC65 diesel micro turbine generator. The 42.06m/ 137’1” yacht returned to Makkum to enter Feadship’s shed and to join W yesterday. The 57.60m/ 189ft W (ex Larisa) is having a refit too and its seems her white hull has been repainted into dark blue or black now. Photos by GuyFleury Photography. ... Lees MeerLees Minder
